Subject: Prakash on Real Intent CDC, RDC, DFT, Lint static sign-off changes
                     The live DAC'22 Troublemakers Panel

Cooley: Prakash. Mentor Questa CDC and Synopsys Spyglass CDC and
Synopsys RDC have been pushing harder on functional static
         sign-off.
How do you compete in that environment? Are you at Real Intent
         lowering your prices?

Prakash: So, John, all our Real Intent customers are under tremendous
pressure to continue to put out advanced, more complex, larger
designs on a certain schedule and as these designs get larger,
the only way they can be delivered on the same schedule is by
further improvements in their design methodology and flows.

We at Real Intent are basically running extremely hard to stay
in the same place with our customers.
We have announced the release of our new Meridian CDC, Meridian
RDC, Ascent Lint, and Meridian DFT.
Specifically, there are 3 dimensions on which we have innovated.

On average, 30% improved performance and capacity in the tools.

Cooley: 30% against your own tools or 30% against rivals?

Prakash: 30% against the previous generation of our Real Intent products.

And then targeted debug, because a lot of the static sign off
tools generate a volume of data that must be debugged.
So, multi-level organization of information so that you can do
better root cause grouping, sorting, filtering, and so forth.

As I said, customers must innovate on methodology. So, we have
also enabled an innovative, advanced "use" models, targeted and
incremental analysis, multi-policy analysis, and more advanced
         links to your Verilog/VHDL simulation.

Everything is targeted toward creating faster and more robust
         static sign-off flows.

Cooley: Can you go to the Big Three EDA vendor simulators?

Prakash: We can go to simulators with our own partners, yes.

Cooley: Okay. Is there anyone who's not a partner? Cadence, Synopsys,
         Mentor?

Prakash: Since we use the standard interfaces, we can go to all simulators.

 Cooley: Okay

Prakash: And, and as far as dropping prices -- no. We do very well because
we deliver on the customer requirements, in their time frame; our
speed of response is valued, and we do very well.

 Cooley: Okay.
