Hi, John,
I haven't used the tool but I heard that the CEO of Tera, Alain Labat,
left the company last Monday.

Hi John,
Alain Labat, Tera's CEO, announced he is leaving. That's one man's view
to the company's prospects. Your reader may want to consider following
him to Vast.

Enclosed are the two letters I've received on Tera's CEO. I can't say
anything more about Tera because I haven't seen anything from users on
them in a while. Last time was 11 months ago in the 2003 DAC Trip
Report. See: http://www.deepchip.com/items/dac03-29.html Since then
Tera's biggest competitor, InTime Software, has gone out of business.
To tell you the truth, I haven't even heard from anyone at Tera in over
a year -- which is odd, because usually marketing people in the smaller
EDA companies pepper me with emails and phone calls.

Hi John,
Thanks for the info. There is also another company interested in hiring
me. The company's name is "Aprio". They're in the DFM space and they
will announce their first product within the next two weeks. After
reading Goering's article from 11/01/04, I'm concerened that the EDA
market in the DFM space will be very crowded. Do your readers have any
comments on the DFM space or Aprio specifically as well?
