From: Gary Meyers <garym=user domain=synopsys got calm>

Hi John,

Yes, it's true. Joachim Kunkel's and my organizations are merging and I
have every confidence that Joachim will continue the great success the
talented Synopsys/Synplicity team has enjoyed over the years.

This is a natural final step in what has been a successful integration
process. It's been a terrific adventure with a great team and I wish
everyone at Synopsys and at all of our customers and partners well.

My last day is April 15th.

I read [ Mr. Network ]'s post with amusement. There's simply no truth
to the rumors of unhappiness within the former Synplicity team at
Synopsys. Andy Haines transitioned out as part of the merger two years
ago and Ken decided nearly a year ago to move to a part-time role to
allow him to pursue other interests, while keeping him deeply engaged
in our key FPGA synthesis technologies.

The Synplify/Certify/Identify/Synphony HLS/HAPS/CHIPit products continue
to be best-in-class with consistent industry leadership over many many
years in FPGA logic and physical synthesis and in Rapid Prototyping. With
the innovations in the hopper, I don't expect that to change.

And no, I haven't been in the hunt for a new role. I'm looking forward
to some time with my family over the summer.

Take care, John. All the best.

From: Juergen Jaeger <juergen.jaeger=user domain=synopsys got calm>

Hi John,

Funny what kind of rumors some people are putting out, especially those
individuals who do not have the courage to use their name!

So let me give you the story form the source, from Juergen Jaeger:

Although it's correct that I am no longer heading up product marketing
for the Confirma products, I am still at Synopsys, working on different
projects and initiatives

My previous role at Synplicity and then Synopsys after the acquisition was
not being the head of the "silly ProDesign CHIPit stuff". I did product
marketing for ALL Confirma products, which of course did also include
CHIPit, but also HAPS and various software tools.
