Subject: Recruiting terrorists? Well then start with the engineers?

From: Dave Simmons <icnerd=user domain=ieee.org>

Hi, John,

I can't believe what these "researchers" are saying! It's an actual study!

"Citing studies finding that engineers as a group are more politically
conservative than other professions, Gambetta and Hertog write that
engineers by nature are more likely to be drawn to the kind of rigid,
hierarchical worldviews that radical Islam provides: Their governing
mentality inclines them to take more extreme conservative and religious
    positions everywhere."

Clearly, these two "sociologist" twerps flunked out of math and spent years
flipping burgers, and now they think they have a chance for revenge...

Editor's Note: I was also bullshit when I read this so-called "study" by
these sociologists. It's just like when Homeland Security issued a
"warning" that US veterans were a possible terrorist threat. - John
