Subject: Need Your Help -- Gary Smith died on Friday, July 3rd
I'm very sad to report that during his post-DAC break in Arizona,
Gary Smith of GarySmithEDA died from pneumonia Friday, July 3rd.
And we need your help on three things.
His widow, Lori Kate Smith, has called to ask me to put together
an EDA & SEMICONDUCTOR GARY SMITH MEMORIES PAGE this week before
the funeral such that Gary's 9-year-old son will be able to read
years later how those who personally worked with Gary saw Gary.
1.) If you have any pictures of Gary, please email them to
me in a separate email as:

2.) If you have any memories or stories involving Gary,
please send them in ASAP! Remember this will be for
Gary's son, KC, years later -- so please take the time
share stories that show Gary's character, humor, impact,
quirks, influence, etc. -- that a son will want to read
about his father 10 to 15 years from now. Please email

3.) Gary's funeral will be in San Jose on Sunday, July 12th.
Lori Kate needs to get a head count to know what size
place to rent. IF YOU PLAN TO ATTEND THE FUNERAL, please
