Joe Sawiki of Mentor on the MENT-EVE lawsuit, dirty pool, engineers
don't like lawsuits, protecting your IP, "Mentor Legal Department
does not feel right if it's not involved in an emulation lawsuit",
    MetaSoft lawsuit, QuickTurn lawsuit.

quarter for both sides, judges rarely want to conclude a lawsuit,
they're not good for customers, nobody wins an IP lawsuit; they
    just survive it, settle immediately!

semiconductor guys think EDA is so flakey, patent trolls, TSMC,
NEC vs. Intel lawsuit, most lawsuits are settled, lots of patents

longer than it should have been", bunker mentality, Joe Costello,
esprit de corps, Rajeev Madhavan used the SNPS-LAVA lawsuit to
imspire his employees, SNPS vs. Extreme-DA, MENT-EVE, "In the
semiconductor circles the rules was if you got sued it would up
