Subject: Users rank Apache Customer Support exceptionally well

KICK ASS SUPPORT -- Out of all the suveys I've done over the years, I've
never seen such high ratings for an EDA company's customer support. Out of
the 38 respondants, 100% rated Apache support at "pretty good"! But then
again, this shouldn't be too surprizing -- small start-ups *must* provide
killer support or they die pretty quickly on the vine. That is, the small
EDA guys can't live off of customer inertia like one of the Big 4 can.

"How would you rank Apache customer support? (Choose one) Pretty good,
so-so to mixed, or pretty bad? Are they helpful (Y or N)? Is support
still around after they've made the sale (Y or N)?"

"How would you rank Apache customer support?"

        pretty good: ############################## 100%

"Is support still around after they've made the sale?"

                 No: # 3%

Very good support. Very helpful and they do stick around after the
    sale.

Customer support is pretty good. It was excellent before the sale when
we were trying to debug a noise issue in one of our chips. They worked
a lot of evenings and weekends to run the tool for us.

Post sales have not been as intense but our chip came back and worked
so we weren't pushing them hard for more data but we do want them to
improve some of their power grid resistance reports and jitter analysis
    reports.

    Good support.

Excellent. They put very knowledgable people in front of us and they
are easy to work with. Support is still around after a sale.

Support is pretty good. Being a smaller company has the advantage.
It's a welcome relief from Cadence or Synopsys AEs!

Very helpful in all my dealing with them. I expect them to be around
after making the sale. I have strong belief that they are honest with
high level of integrity. On scale 1-to-10, I give Apache 10. (Cadence
will be lucky if they get 1)

Pretty good. The support AE is very knowledgeable about their product
    and ASIC design flow.

Best support I've encountered so far from any vendor. They are very
helpful and seem to be available more often than not.

I'd say support is pretty good. Very helpful, and supportive.

Pretty good! The sale has just occured so let's see how support will
    evolve... but I feel confident.

Pretty good. We started using their tool one month before tapeout and
they worked pretty much inside our team to get the results by tapeout.
Very knowledgeable and courteous team. I would rate them very high.

Apache's support far outshined the competition. Their team has been
and continues to be responsive and thorough in their support of our
needs, whether they be issues or requests for enhancements.

        - [ An Anon Engineer ]

Pretty good. They are very helpful and proactive.
