Subject: Mentor Users Group (MUG) meets next week at the San Jose Marriott
Hello John,
As Chair of the Mentor Users Group (MUG), I want to make sure you are aware
of the upcoming MUG conference and would appreciate it if you would make
your readers aware of this event.
Conference dates: May 2 (pre-conference workshops) - May 5
Location: San Jose Marriott and Convention Center, San Jose, CA
Highlights of MUG 2006 include:
- 16 hands-on pre-conference workshops. These are 4 or 8 hour sessions
covering Calibre, Eldo/ADVance MS, DFT, assertion-based verification,
FPGA, and several on Mentor's high speed and board products.
- 14 technical tracks, with 95+ presentations by Mentor customers in
IC, DFT, FPGA, functional verification and board.
- A new "management" track featuring technical management from Infineon,
Rockwell Collins, Georgia Tech and Dataquest.
- Keynotes from Nick Baker, the Microsoft Xbox 360 engineering director,
and Rick Tumlinson, co-founder of the Space Frontier Foundation.
All of this is in addition to seeing demos of the latest Mentor products,
hearing product update and roadmap presentations from Mentor reps, and
discussing product and support issues with Mentor technical executives.
I know many of your readers are Mentor users, and will benefit from
attending the conference. And we hope to see you again this year, also.
