Editor's Note: Why does Bill Gates hate me so? A friend shows me the
Microsoft on-line gaming web site and my life is ruined! I do a little
work and then reward myself with a game of on-line chess. I have dinner
and why not a quick game or six of on-line chess afterwards? Go visit
the girlfriend for the weekend and during a quiet moment I jump into a
game of on-line chess. On the TV show "Fraiser", I notice two of the
people standing on a tile floor and see how if one of them moves
diagonally like a bishop, he can block the entrance to the room in one
easy move!? At night, my dreams are of chess moves. But I can't sleep,
so why not play some 4:AM games against the Aussies? G'day mate!
And the really sad thing is that I'm only an above average player. It's
not like I "rule" the chess world or something...
God help me; why does that horrible Mr. Bill Gates hate me so???? :(
