How to use DeepChip Search

Searches are SOMETIMES case sensitive!   Searching for "dogs" returns 10 articles; while searching for "Dogs" returns 0 articles (because there's nothing in the DeepChip archive that has the exact string "Dogs" in it!!!!)   "Verilog" and "verilog" can be two completely different strings!!!

  • A Simple Case-Sensitive Exact String Search
    • Finds documents containing the exact phrase 'Apollo Timing Differs From PrimeTime'

Example: "Apollo Timing Differs From PrimeTime"
  • OR Search
    • Finds documents containing either 'VHDL' or 'Verilog'

      Example: VHDL or Verilog
  • AND Search
    • Finds documents containing both 'VHDL' and 'Verilog'

      Example: VHDL and Verilog
  • NOT Search
    • Finds documents containing 'VHDL' but not 'Verilog'

      Example VHDL and not Verilog
  • Grouped with Parentheses Search
    • Finds documents containing 'synthesis', and neither 'VHDL' nor 'Verilog'

Example: synthesis and not (VHDL or Verilog)
  • Asterisk Search
    • Finds documents containing words starting with behav, e.g. 'behave', 'behavioral'

      Example: behav*
