The ill-fated DAC-NET. Users had
a love-hate relationship with it. Half of DAC-NET
was SUN Solaris machines and the other half was Compaq Windows machines. Users loved the
SUN
half because they could telnet home to get their
e-mail. They hated the Compaq half because it had no
telnet and they disabled the 'find' command on them.
