  Palo Alto, CA - Extreme DA seeks an apps engineer for its XT product, a timing sign-off
  tool for IC design.  The AE will work with Sales to clearly articulate to customers how
  XT benefits their current and planned timing closure methodologies.  The AE will be
  responsible for a variety of pre- and post-sales activities.  Will also share with the
  R&D team your experience in customers' timing sign-off processes to help enhance XT's
  features.  Must have excellent presentation skills and be able to work with customers
  and colleagues while managing multiple tasks with minimal supervision.

  Requires BSEE and 5+ years experience or an MSEE with 3+ years experience.  Must have
  expertise in PrimeTime and possess a thorough understanding of design methodologies,
  with a good knowledge of process issues at 90-, 65-, and 45-nanometers.  Also requires
  proven knowledge of LEF/DEF, ASIC design, physical implementation technology, Verilog,
  VHDL, and scripting languages such as Perl, Python, and Tcl.  Expertise in HSPICE,
  StarRC and CeltIC is a plus.

  This position will be based at Extreme DA's headquarters in Palo Alto, requires up to
  50 percent international travel, and offers a highly competitive compensation package.
