  Sunnyvale, CA - Synplicity seeks a senior logic synthesis R&D engineer.  You must have
  experience in developing EDA software such as: Synplicity Synplify or Amplify, Synopsys
  Design Compiler, Mentor Graphics Leonardo or Precision Synthesis, Cadence Get2Chip,
  Xilinx XST or Altera Quartus.  You are responsible for improving the quality of results
  (QoR) of our logic synthesis solutions for FPGA technologies, as well as for contributing
  to the design and implementation of new features.  You also work to support the logic
  synthesis performance inside our physical synthesis product.  Candidate must comfortable
  contributing to multiple projects simultaneously, and you can mentor other engineers
  inside and outside the team.

  MSEE or MSCS with at least 5 years of relevant experience, or Ph.D. in EE or CS with at
  least 2 years of relevant experience.  Expert in logic synthesis methodologies, and
  familiarity with physical synthesis methodologies.  Fluent with FPGA technologies,
  preferably from Xilinx or Lattice.  Fluent in C/C++ programming and familiarity with
  Tcl or Python.  Experience with CVS a plus but not needed.
