( ESNUG 363 Item 10 ) -------------------------------------------- [01/25/01]

Subject: Has Anyone Used RealChip? Are They Good Or Bad News To Work With?

Hi John,

First off thanks for ESNUG over the years!

Second no names on this one, we're currently negotiating with the company
mentioned below.

We've been doing ASICs for years here at [ Name Deleted ] with VLSI/Philips
and OKI and are looking at other options. So the question is: Has anyone
used RealChip and what has their experience been? Areas of interest: NRE,
availibility of IP, layout iterations, time in layout, ECO problems, test
issues, proto and volume delivery, piece price, responsiveness, and ability
to deliver on promises made. Any other comments greatly appreciated.
