When all else fails, use an LVS correspondence file to identify one or two
instance matches between the schematic and the extracted layout. It's a
bit of a cludge, but it works, and surprisingly, extraction to extraction,
many of the extracted instance names don't change. (If you're just making
small changes to your layout.)
