Subject: Want Opinions on Summit vs Escalade For Design Capture, Sim, FSMs
Hi John,
We are about to evaluate Summit's Visual HDL and Escalade's DesignBook. We
are looking for a front end tool for high level design. Mainly to document
and capture designs at the module level. Some here like the hooks into the
simulator and also for FSM generation. I was wondering if the other
features are of much use. Hopefully there are some users out there who are
using these tools and are willing to give their opinions.
