Subject: Power Compiler Problems Involving ARM Cores & Verilog Binaries

Hi John,

What have you heard about Power Compiler? I have used it on some testcases
and it appears to do as advertised but when I try to use it on a larger
scale ...

Well the larger scale means with an ARM core where I need to recompile a
Verilog binary with the objects from the ARM and the PLI, and Synopsys
claims they do not have any customers that use Power Compiler with and ARM
in their design. I find that very hard to believe. Have you heard
differently?

I get that response when I ask for AE support in creating this new Verilog
binary.
