John,

One of my colleagues got a phone call from Synopsys right after post 291 was
issued. The guy from Synopsys was all upset that I was taking potshots (my
words) at them when they were trying to help us. My colleague replied that
so far their help had been limited and had yet to show results, and stood
behind me and my post.

Seems that we now have Sun and Synopsys representatives coming out of the
woodwork to help us!

Sun is sending out a new motherboard, due to the disk/file system problems,
and now an odd video problem too. We may have a Sun hardware problem at the
root of this.
