Here's Cadence hustling their PKS to some unsuspecting
customer. At the time, Cadence had no customer PKS tape-outs while Synopsys had 9 PhysOpt customer tape-outs.
The Synopsys people were all full of themselves
wearing buttons that said: "Got Tape-outs?"
Here's Synopsys hustling PhysOpt and Chip Architect to a group of customers.
"... so what's the biggest Purchase Order you're authorised to sign for, sir?"
And here's no one at the Monterey booth. (Again, no surprise there, either.)

I don't quite know what's going on here. (And I don't want to know, either...)
